In 1976, George D. Patte, Jr. commenced the practice of  law in Ithaca, New York. Subsequently, he was a founding partner in the firm of Greenburg and Patte (1982-1990), and its successor firm, The Patte Law Firm, with the main office in Ithaca and a branch office in Spencer, New York.
